This project featured the restoration of a family-owned derelict cottage on the west coast of Ireland with stunning views across a fresh water loch. Working from the existing four walls, the internal space was remodelled and extended to create a holiday cottage to maximise the space available.
Double storey voids and lightwells enabled light to penetrate into the property, which previously had restricted daylight due to the small window openings of the traditional cottage form.
